Stay Humble

I usually try to stay humble. When you’re a puffin and act conceited, it sounds like a cliché. Like we’re all “puffed up” and full of ourselves. I really do want to stay puffed down. Or is it actually puffed in? I don’t know. That’s confusing. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t want to boast about my exceptional style. But…

You gotta love what I’ve done here. I mean, the beak is pretty cool, and I know a lot of birds have a unique seed cracker, but the red, white and black? Come on. Together like this? It’s pretty striking. The yellow lips are a nice touch too. Very graphic. And yes, birds have lips. You can clearly see them in this profile pic. I don’t go shouting about how unique that is, but seriously, I could play harmonica if I wanted to. (I just don’t want to.) And people do call me cute. That’s not me remarking on my own amazingingness. Other people. They like the panache.

And if you don’t mind me expounding a bit, what I’m really proud of is this triangle eye. How cool is that? A circle in a triangle? And the red ring in there to really ad some flair? You gotta admit, that’s unique. Not over the top like a flashy parrot.  I am a modern bird. I’m keepin’ it simple with this clean design. Sure, penguins have the timeless tuxedo thing going, but I added some real pizzaz to the look. The toucan went overboard. I’m just going to say it. That pecker is over the top. I knew when to reign it in. Classic style right here.

I may not be the best flyer, but I got charm and good looks. I’m not bragging. I’m just sayin’.
