I'm not much for selfies.
Like most designers, I’m online a lot, so I relish the time I spend in nature. You’ll find photos here I’ve taken while exploring the many trails I seek out. I’m more about capturing the scene, rather than myself in the scenery, but here’s a shot to show you who put this site together.
My dog Pepper makes more appearances in my feed than I do. I’ve always related to the life of a dog. Run. Rest. Repeat. We both like that pattern. When we get back to the car after a long trail run and we’re both all dirty and worn out, her sentiment mirrors my own: “I’m exhausted. That was fun.”
The #2 will always be #1.
I like drawing too. That’s how I got started with this whole design thing. I spent a lot of time doodling and making art in school. I still like seeing what comes out of an old #2 pencil, and I enjoy the artistic process. I’m always amazed at what a few lines and some imagination can do.
Most of my time is on the computer now, but Photoshop is a wonderful canvas. Working with video and animation is really fun too. While my work is mostly digital now, the backbone will always be a love of art. Here are some recent doodles.

I'm on the right path.
And my clients agree.
I just printed the postcards to take a look and we LOVE them.

Lovin' life
on the Central Coast
I worked on the Paso Magazine for many years. I put together thousands of editorial pages and lots of covers that captured the spirit of my town. This one was one of my favorites, as it depicts the open space and sense of freedom that has kept me here all this time.
I love being able to explore the outdoors and then grab a pint at a local brewery. There's always something new to experience. Whether it's discovering a new trail, surfing a different break, or a trying a unique IPA, I'll give it a go.
The Central Coast is a great place to work, and an even better place to play.
